Alberto Iñurrategi, Juan Vallejo and Mikel Zabalza are the three basque climbers that took part in the  TransAntartika 2011 expedition.

One hundred years later than Roald Amundsen  and his team arrived at the South Pole, this three brave basque travelled to the Antartic last winter. They used kites to go faster and made the South Pole in December 29th 2011.
